There are certain times in which you should call emergency services:
  • If you see someone else passes out and they are known to have Atrial Fibrillation
  • You are feeling faint and your heartbeat is irregular
  • You are experiencing signs of a stroke
  • You are experiencing symptoms of a heart attack.

Call your Doctor Immediately if your experience the following:
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Fainting episodes
  • Lightheadedness
  • Dizziness
  • Heart Palpitations
  • Irregular Heart Rate
  • Signs of bleeding due to Anticoagulants

Call 911 if:
  • You begin to experience a very severe headache worse than a mild ache. This may point to bleeding in the brain area
  • Bloody Stools
  • Vomiting Blood
  • Coughing up Blood
  • Call the Doctor Immediately if:
  • Your stools are black and have streaks of blood
  • There is blood in your urine
  • You have constant nosebleeds that are difficult to stop
  • You have new bruises under your skin
  • You have new bruises or blood spots under your skin
  • You are injured. It's important to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. If the bleeding does not stop call your doctor immediately
  • Heavy vaginal bleeding
